The 15th edition of the Arabian Woman Exhibition opened this week at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum at Qatar Chamber. Running through September 5, the event brings together 200 booths and around 140 Qatari businesswomen entrepreneurs alongside exhibitors from nine other countries.
This year's edition, themed "Impact," spans 200 booths from local and international exhibitors, with roughly 140 Qatari businesswomen presenting alongside participants from the GCC, Morocco, Jordan, Türkiye, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, India and France. The showcase centers on Fall/Winter 2026 fashion, accessories and design, and includes a new collaboration with the M7 Center spotlighting regional talent that blends contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship.
Al Anoud Zayed Al Mohannadi, Director of Member Affairs at Qatar Chamber, officially opened the exhibition. Ibtihaj Al-Ahmadani, Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairwoman of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum, said the exhibition has "become a distinguished platform for showcasing the creativity and projects of Qatari and Arab businesswomen," pointing to its growth across organization, product range and participant numbers over 15 editions. Tamader Al-Marri, director of organizer Vogue Event, called it "a leading platform bringing together a distinguished group of Qatari and Arab women entrepreneurs."
The exhibition sits outside Qatar's formal startup and tech-accelerator infrastructure, but it functions as one of the country's most consistent recurring platforms for women-led micro and small enterprises — many of them in fashion, design and retail, sectors that rarely feature in venture-funding headlines. With 140 Qatari businesswomen exhibiting in a single edition, the event is a useful proxy for the scale of informal and semi-formal entrepreneurship among women in Qatar, a segment that national diversification strategy increasingly counts on alongside more traditional tech-startup metrics.
