Snoonu and Namaa Partner to Expand Support for Entrepreneurs in Qatar
- by Falak .
Doha, Qatar - Snoonu and Namaa Social Incubator have entered a new partnership aimed at strengthening support for entrepreneurs and helping emerging businesses grow within Qatar’s evolving innovation economy. The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding and brings together one of the country’s best-known homegrown technology platforms with a social incubation centre operating under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work.
The agreement reflects a wider effort to support a more dynamic and diversified economy in Qatar, with both parties aligning the initiative with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the country’s broader focus on sustainable development and knowledge-based growth. The partnership also highlights the growing role of public-private collaboration in building stronger pathways for startups and small businesses.
Under the collaboration, entrepreneurs enrolled in Namaa’s incubation programmes will gain access to Snoonu’s digital platform and integrated ecosystem. This is expected to help participating businesses improve visibility, reach more customers, streamline operations and scale more effectively. In addition to platform access, the initiative includes mentorship, technical support, training opportunities and marketing exposure designed to strengthen business readiness and long-term growth potential.
Snoonu’s contribution to the partnership is particularly significant because of the scale of its digital reach, logistics capabilities and established customer base in Qatar. By connecting incubated businesses to that infrastructure, the agreement gives founders practical market access rather than limiting support to advisory services alone. That could make the programme especially useful for early-stage ventures looking to move from incubation into active commercial growth.
A notable aspect of the partnership is its emphasis on widening participation in entrepreneurship. The initiative is intended to support segments that may face greater barriers to entering or expanding within the market, including home-based businesses, social security beneficiaries and people with disabilities. This inclusion-focused approach positions the collaboration not only as an economic initiative, but also as part of a broader social development effort.
The partnership between Snoonu and Namaa adds to Qatar’s ongoing efforts to build an ecosystem where entrepreneurship, technology and social development are increasingly interconnected. By combining incubation support with digital market access and operational infrastructure, the initiative could help more local ventures move beyond the early support stage and into scalable business growth. It also reinforces Qatar’s ambition to strengthen its position as a regional hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and inclusive economic development.
